Started by Joanna Hennessy and Samantha Boughton, both professional
artists, Create.workshops was set up to provide children with unique
drama and art activities that capture their imagination and reflect
their individuality.
Through
the use of art and drama, Create.workshops design programmes that
are exciting and expressive for the child, whilst helping to develop
their confidence, encourage their creativity and enhance their communication
skills.
Based in the South West, Create.workshops work within the local
community using village halls, schools and community centres to
run workshops after school, during holidays and weekends for children
from 4 to 14 years of age. Workshops are run as art, drama or a
combination of the two with themes changing each term and holiday
period.
As
well as running extra curriculum activities, Create.workshops also
tailor art and drama projects for Primary schools throughout the
South West. They offer 1-2 day, week long or regular workshops during
school hours that compliment the curriculum and enhance a child’s
learning experience.
All workshops are led by an experienced artist / teacher with support
staff to provide a low student to staff ratio.
All staff are CRB checked, with the appropriate insurances and
health and safety precautions taken in all venues. |
